Sun City, AZ – This project remodeled an existing museum for use as a Social Services Center and Chapel, providing The Salvation Army with space they needed to meet increasing demand for services. The former museum now houses administrative offices, a commercial kitchen, dining area, food bank, chapel, counseling rooms, classrooms and meeting rooms.
The remodel included subdivision of large spaces into offices, meeting rooms, etc. An operable partition was installed between the chapel and dining room, allowing for the expansion of the dining room for large events. Exterior renovation was limited to painting, accessibility upgrades and maintenance work.
